about

This track is for the Orisha Obba, another of Shango's wives. It is said she cut off her ear in order to feed it to Shango in a soup. This was encouraged by one of the rival wives of Shango. Obba is both a homemaker and a warrior and excellent in the art of sword/cutlass fighting. She is also a teacher and passed on these skills to other Orisha. She is another river Orisha in Yorubaland. This was the second track that we recorded completely live at the Premises Studio.
