This was the London Lucumi Choir's first ever experience of recording an album and it was recorded post a trip by Daniela R De Armas to Matanzas as a Finzi Scholar to research into songs in Matanzas. It features Gerardo De Armas and his Rumbaché and Special guest Javier Campos Martinez who directed the percussion and co-produced the album. Art by Mercedes Morgana Reyes.
