Benin/Fon. Naila, the Influence from Benin (which was known as Dahomey) is very marked in Cuba, especially in Matanzas where your great grandmother Luisa originates from. Choir member, Sonia Kounasso, sings this with lots of love in the same way that her mother used to sing it to her.
