Obatala is the Orisha of Peace, Wisdom, Clarity. He is the King of the White Cloth. His natural domain is the mountain top, his colour is white, snails and Elephants are sacred to him. Sometimes known as Oshanla or Oxala in Brasil. This track is a merge of three musical spiritual traditions from Yoruba Land, Brasil and Cuba. Honouring the fact that there are many branches to one tree. Thankyou so much to Tim Harrison for his footage of Obatala Dance in Santiago.
